The problems and issues prior to implementing Xero
Prior to implementing Xero, our operational and financial data were fragmented and siloed, lacking the transparency and comprehensiveness required to conduct strategic planning and forecasting. To me having a turnkey platform that provides real-time business snapshot and visualisations is essential to any SME.
The wish list and selection of software you considered and how important was the decision of opting a cloud-based solution
The team considered other accounting software but ultimately opted for a cloud based solution like Xero because as a digital native business and IoT device purveyor, it is therefore important for our internal toolkit to also be cloud-ready and future proof.
The solution and why Xero and Dext was selected
Xero was selected due to its intuitive UI/UX, relative ease of onboarding and integrability with local financial service providers. Dext was adapted to streamline medical and expense claims and reimbursable workflow.
